Hi there –
My name is Sarah May and I have a passion for baking! I grew up learning how to bake from my grandmother and my mother, and have increasingly grown to love it more and more as the years go by. Ultimately, I’d like to enroll in a baking and pastry arts program in order to enhance my abilities with more formal knowledge. I am constantly striving to create delicious goodies for my friends and family, whether I am creating something new or improving on something I have already tried. I love experimenting with new recipes and techniques, and am always up for a challenge.
Because of my vast love for all things baking (in addition to encouragement and support from family and friends, of course), I have chosen to embark on this new path of creating my own baking business. Thanks to the recently formed Cottage Food Industry here in Washington state, I am able to start making this dream come true by starting my own home-based baking business. While I hold current business licenses through Washington State and the City of Redmond for a home-based business, I am working on obtaining my Cottage Food License later this year.
