Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located? I’d love to come try out your products!

I am located on the Eastside, in southwest Redmond. Because I currently bake out of my home, there is no store front for you to come try out my products before placing an order.

Since you don’t have a store, how can I obtain your baked goods?

You are welcome to pick up your order from my home -or- I can also deliver your order to you nearly anywhere on the Eastside or in Seattle. Contact me for more information.

Can you ship your baked goods to me?

Well, that’s a sticky situation for a few reasons. One – there is no easy way to ship cupcakes without the frosting getting all smooshed (or melting!). Two –  per the Cottage Food Industry standards, all deliveries must be made in person, and I am therefore not permitted to ship my baked goods. I am also not permitted to make sales outside of Washington state.

What is your order minimum?

I will take minimum orders of 6 regular cupcakes, 12 mini cupcakes, or 12 cookies.

How far in advance do I have to place an order?

For minimum orders, I recommend at least a week in advance. For larger orders, I recommend at least 2 weeks in advance.

How long will your cupcakes stay fresh?

If stored in a sealed container at room temperature, my cupcakes should remain fresh for 2-3 days. They can be stored in the refrigerator for a few extra days beyond that, but this tends to dry out the cake far quicker than storing at room temp (please note: if storing in the fridge, let them thaw to room temp prior to eating so that the buttercream can thaw out a bit).

Freezing: if you aren’t able to eat the cupcakes immediately, I suggest freezing them in their bakery box, wrapped with plastic wrap. Remove from the freezer and let them thaw out at room temperature for about an hour prior to eating them.

Do you do large cakes, such as wedding cakes?

At this time, I do not have the experience, equipment, or space to do large scale (e.g. stacked) cakes. I can certainly create large cupcake displays or do smaller scale wedding cakes or special event cakes. Feel free to contact me for more information.

Can you make (elaborate design) for my cake/cupcakes?

While I can do basic piping techniques, decorating is not my top priority. First and foremost, I am a baker who focuses on creating delicious tasting baked goods. I also work primarily with buttercream over fondant or gum paste decorations.

I see you offer some gluten free options, do you have a separate gluten free kitchen?

I do not have separate kitchen space for my gluten free products, therefore I cannot guarantee that no cross contamination has occurred. For more information on my gluten free products, click here
